Credit Insurance is rapidly becoming more and more essential in business, regardless of the Industry you are involved in. It makes good business sense to safeguard the future of your company against potential bad debt.

Credit insurance is designed to give you this protection by allowing you to insure against your customers' failure to pay invoices.

The FMCM Credit Insurance Scheme is unique in the way that it is "controlled" by an agency within the Fish Industry instead of an Independent Credit Insurer outwith the industry.

Because of this control factor, we are able to keep claims to a minimum, which in turn allows FMCM to negotiate preferential rates for our members.

To be effective, the scheme needs to be monitored in much the same way as our Credit Management facilities.

To be eligible for the scheme, you must be a member of FMCM and comply with the terms and conditions of membership - copies of which are supplied with confirmation of membership.
